Finish at ~17h20 / 1:20am AEST
€22,500 for top 20 stage finishers (winner takes €8000 of this)
€2,800 for stage winning team (based on aggregate time of top 3 finishers)
€500 for stage winning young rider
€350 for wearer of yellow jersey after today's stage
€300 for wearers of green, polka dots, white jerseys
€2,000 for winner of "combative" rider tonight.

Here are how the top 10 cyclists have won their money:

As you can see, recent movers in the mountains have been
-De Marchi (Cannondale), winning a couple of Combative €2,000 prizes
-Rodriguez (Katusha), winning the Souvenir Henri Desgranges €5,000 prize
-Majka (Tinkoff-Saxo), with consecutive 2nd and 1st place finishes

On the other hand, Kittel has been noticeably absent - three wins in the first four stages but then not a single €racker since!

Tonight the winner will secure €8,000 - enough to shake up the Top 3 prizemoney winners!

At least the prizemoney battle is close even if the GC and Sprint jerseys appear all sewn up...
